\u00abThe most common thing that we heard in meetings was that it’s so hard to get a lawyer who understands us and actually knows what a videogame is,\u00bb Daiana explained. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added that some also had questions about meeting with publishers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also met C\u00e9sar Izurieta, President of ADVEC \u2014 the Association of Video Game Developers of Ecuador \u2014who despite the country’s small videogame industry, was intent on finding ways to grow it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00abHe was really doing it because he loves videogames and seemed really honest in wanting the industry to prosper,\u00bb Lucas noted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00abThe main feeling that I got from the the event was that everyone was trying to support each other,\u00bb Daiana said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daiana and Lucas also found time to try some new and upcoming games, too. One game they both enjoyed was Sol Cesto, by Goblinz Studio, which releases into early access at the end of May. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
